We offer two levels of structural checking services to ensure your used mezzanine is suitable for office or storage use and to provide the documentation you need for safety and compliance.

Option 1 — Drawings, Calculations & Load Signage
Price: £750.00 + VAT
What we need from you (email attachments):

Plan drawing of the used mezzanine with clear dimensions (length × width)

Finished floor height (mezzanine level above ground)

Flooring type (e.g., 38mm particle board)

All steel component sizes and lengths (beams, columns, purlins)

Purlin centres (distance between purlins — e.g., 600mm c/c or 700mm c/c)

Quantity and location of any cross-bracing between columns

Photographs of existing components (close-ups of connections and overall images)
What we deliver:

A drawing showing the verified arrangement and key checks

Full structural calculations (engineered) showing allowable loads and design assumptions

Durable loading signage for the mezzanine (to attach to the structure)
Option 2 — On-Site Survey, Calculations & Load Signage
Price: £1250.00 + VAT
We will travel to your premises and survey all mezzanine components, whether the floor has already been built or is still in component form.
From this survey, we will provide:

A detailed drawing of the mezzanine arrangement

A full set of structural steel calculations to confirm the integrity of the mezzanine floor
-
Loading signage to attach directly to the mezzanine for compliance and safety
Additional note: Any premises over a 75-mile radius from us will be subject to extra charges, which will be confirmed and agreed before our survey.
Other services:
We can make a Full plans application to your Local Authority Building Control department to gain the necessary approval for your Mezzanine floor structure.
